Online Personal Trainer Over 40

An online personal trainer for people over 40 (and over 50) plans safe strength training around your joints, old injuries, job and family, with a weekly check-in so the plan changes as you go.

It is not too late, and you do not need to train like you did at 25. Coached is £79 a month and your first month is £39.

Sound familiar?

“My knees and back aren’t what they used to be.”

Tell us about any pain or old injury. Your plan works around it, and any move that does not feel right gets changed.

“The weight goes on more easily now.”

A nutrition plan built on food you like, plus strength training and daily steps. Checked every week.

“I haven’t trained in years.”

You start at your level, with simple moves. Your coach builds you up a little each week.

“I’m worried about getting hurt.”

Every exercise comes with clear steps, and you can send a video for a form check before you add weight.

Why strength training matters more after 40

The NHS advises adults to do strength activities on at least 2 days a week. For adults over 65, it adds activities that improve balance and flexibility, also on at least 2 days a week.

Strength is what lets you carry the shopping, climb the stairs, lift your grandchildren and stay independent. The sooner you start, the more you keep.

Your plan puts strength first, with walking for your heart and a short warm-up so your joints are ready before you lift.

  • Strength workouts two or three times a week
  • A longer warm-up for stiff joints
  • Joint-friendly versions of every move
  • Rest days built in, so you recover

What is different about your plan

  • Moves that suit your body

Bad knee? Sore shoulder? You get a version of each exercise that works for you.

  • Time to recover

Rest days are part of the plan. Progress comes from training and recovering, not from more and more.

  • Short workouts

Workouts of 30 to 40 minutes, at home or in the gym, around your job and family.

  • Food for strength

Enough protein to keep your muscle, and a simple target if you want to lose weight. See nutrition coaching.

  • Steady progress

A small step up each week, checked at your weekly check-in.

  • A coach to ask

Something hurts or feels wrong? Message your coach before your next workout.

Simple prices. No contract.

Questions people ask

Am I too old to start training?

No. You can build strength at any age. Your plan starts where you are now and goes up slowly.

I have an old injury. Can I still train?

Usually, yes. Tell us about it when you join and your plan works around it. If something is painful now, see your GP or a physiotherapist first.

Is online training safe for people over 50?

Yes, with a plan that suits you. Every move comes with clear steps, you can send videos for form checks, and your coach changes anything that does not feel right. If you have a heart problem or another condition, check with your GP first.

What about the menopause?

Tell your coach about things like poor sleep or low energy. Your plan can change week to week to match how you feel. For medical advice on the menopause, speak to your GP.

How often should I train over 40?

Two or three strength workouts a week, plus daily walking, is a strong start. The NHS advises strength activities on at least 2 days a week.
